Chiropractic is a hands-on approach to healthcare that treats the cause of your discomfort, not just the symptoms. It centers on the understanding that when the body is able to function properly it has the ability to heal itself.
Every "body" is different. Unique lifestyles and personal histories leave unique impressions on each body and it's spine. There are no cookie cutter means for proper diagnosis. We do not take shortcuts when it comes to the health of our patients. Timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of your condition is the key to restoring function and recuperating naturally.
At our office, every new patient receives a thorough consultation, examination and necessary x-rays, allowing Dr. Thornton to diagnose their condition and create a treatment plan specific to their body's needs. If a patient is tentative about standard adjusting techniques, Dr. Thornton has other 'gentle' techniques that are very effective. We see a great number of post surgical patients and use these techniques to obtain fantastic results.
A healthy body needs proper nutrition and supplemental support, appropriate exercise, and chiropractic care to function to its fullest. For those seeking a change nutritionally as well as physically, Dr. Thornton will recommend an exercise plan and diet changes supported by nutritional supplements. Which supplement does your body need? Our 'state of the art' Bio-Meridian test reads electrical impedance from acupuncture meridians. It is a fast, accurate, and objective profiling tool that assists a practitioner in identifying the optimal homeopathic protocol, including Main, Secondary, and Phase remedies for each patient. We then determine supplemental needs based on this information.
Dr. Thornton and his staff support local charities, including: Life Care, Guardian ad Litem, ECHO, AmVets and Toys for Tots through monthly and yearly promotions to include New Patient Specials, Patient Appreciation Days and special events. We are proud to be a part of the Brandon community and surrounding areas and are thankful God has blessed us with the means to give back to the community we love so much!
